Course Description

Provides an introduction to exercises that are essential for spiritual growth: prayer, reciting the verses of God and meditation, study of the Faith, teaching, observance of divine laws and principles, Huqúqu'lláh and the Bahá'í Funds, and service. In addition to exploring the spiritual insights related to these sacred duties, the course also presents information on the skills necessary to carry out these duties, including guidance on how to perform the Obligatory Prayers, practical ideas for studying the Bahá'í Writings, a method for teaching the Faith, and suggestions for calculating Huqúqu'lláh. The manner in which the course is delivered is described in the Teachers' Manual for the Essential Teachings Training Program.
