The Essential Teachings Training Program is an evolving program of training being used in a number of Bahá'í communities in the United States. Most of the materials for the Program were developed by the Auxiliary Board member for Propagation in North and South Carolina for use by training institutes and other programs of training. In addition to presenting new materials, the Program incorporates two previously published works (The Covenant: Its Meaning and Origin and Our Attitude Toward It and The Guardianship and the Universal House of Justice). All the published works used in the Program have been reviewed by the Research and Special Materials Office of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States. The supplementary materials have been used and reviewed by several communities in the Southern and Eastern states. Suggestions on how the materials may be improved may be directed to Shahin Vafai at SVafai1997@aol.com.
