  • Take a careful look at the analyses done by Ragsdale and the Watsons for the Bob Dylan project. They not only provide a review/critique of the songs, but also provide a historical and biographical context for when the songs were written

  • The booklet produced by James and Charlene Watson (Bob Dylan), the poem written by Michael Best (Paul Simon), and the artwork created by Sissy Faulk (Paul Simon) explicitly show the tensions and changes in the songwriters' treatments of the themes discussed. This is what you should strive for in your art project.
