Four (4) examinations will be given in this course during the 15-week
term. A comprehensive final exam will be given during the time scheduled for finals. The
final exam will consist of three (3) essay questions selected from those listed below. One
(1) question will be selected from each category. All questions are possible selections
whether or not they were selected for an exam during the quarter. Each number refers to
the Unit and the number of the Possible Essay Question for that Unit (i.e., 1.4 refers to
Question #4 on Unit 1 found in the handouts). The final exam score will
replace
the lowest quiz grade and the lowest test grade.
[NOTE: Any student with a course average of 80 or above is exempt from the final exam. A student with a grade between 80 and 89 may opt to take the final with no penalty (i.e., if the student makes a lower score than the lowest score on a previous quiz or test it will not be counted.]
