Definition
To be teachable means to be ready and willing to learn, especially under the guidance of others. One aspect of being teachable is to have the prerequisite skills necessary to be successful in the teaching/learning process. Another aspect is to have the attitude or willingness to place oneself under the guidance of an instructor.
