Lesson Summary: |
Students begin by brainstorming predictions about the future and classify the predictions as either optimistic or pessimistic. Then students read “America Predicts the Future” and write an essay about their own predictions about the future. In the essay students will discuss whether they are optimistic or pessimistic about the future. |
