Communication With The Newspaper

Lesson Summary:

Students will be involved in creating their own newspaper article and put in groups of three.  They will begin by researching existing newspapers to see how they are set up.  They will proceed to write a newspaper articles about a special event or a special field trip that they have experience during the year.  Once the papers are completed, the students will draw pictures, the newspaper articles will be combined, along with the illustrations that go along with them and made into a template for them to take home.
